Castfirm was founded on two decades of experience helping individuals and families build, grow, protect and transfer assets through objective investment and legal planning advice and by simplifying the complex. Founder

James V. Rudolph

James spent the past two decades at the forefront of fiduciary services and investment management. He began his career as a practicing attorney and eventually transitioned to Wall Street where he served a diverse set of clientele by leading planning discussions and advising on fiduciary portfolio management. Over the course of his career, James developed a unique perspective of leading legacy planning ideas as he oversaw the real-life implementation of trusts, foundations and estates.

After watching the deterioration of client service and relationship management at the large money center banks and wire houses following the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, James saw an opportunity to build a firm that delivers client centric advice and brings together two critical pillars of family legacy planning often not available under one roof. Castfirm Law delivers highly custom estate planning documents for all levels of wealth, while Castfirm Advisors is solely dedicated to fiduciary investment management and financial planning.
