Derek is the Chief Investment Officer at Castfirm Advisors, where he leads investment strategy, research, and portfolio management. He previously served as CIO at TWC Investments, specializing in multi-asset allocation for family offices and high-net-worth clients across equities, fixed income, private equity, and venture capital.

Earlier in his career, Derek was Vice President and Portfolio Manager for United Bankshares’ large-cap US equity strategy and held M&A roles within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

 

Derek holds a BS from the University of Scranton and is a CFA® charterholder.
