James V. Rudolph

James founded Castfirm to help families and fiduciaries preserve wealth and intent across generations. With a background spanning both law and private banking, he brings a unique ability to integrate investment oversight with the legal and structural realities of trusts and estates.

Before launching Castfirm, James spent over two decades in fiduciary services and investment management. He began his career practicing estate planning and transactional law before moving into leadership roles as a Managing Director at the Private Banks of JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, and U.S. Trust. There, he advised high-net-worth families, charitable entities, and multigenerational estates on the administration and investment of complex trust structures.

Over the course of his career, James has developed particular expertise in aligning investment strategy with the legal architecture of trusts - ensuring that assets are managed with both prudence and purpose.
